# techstack api inventory

> Generated reference for the techstack api inventory commands

<Note>Generated from the Techstack v0.39.0 release (source `49677b729cb9`). For an installed version, `techstack api <command> --help` is authoritative.</Note>

## techstack api inventory servers access-context

Get sanitized access context for one owned server.

Returns address metadata, channel state, and freshness-qualified service links only. It never returns endpoint references, access-profile references, route IDs, credentials, tokens, SSH users, ports, keys, commands, or logs. This surface requires inventory operate permission; read permission alone is insufficient.

```bash theme={null}
techstack api inventory servers access-context <server-id> [flags]
```

| | |
| - | - |
| HTTP | `GET /api/v1/inventory/servers/{serverId}/access-context` |
| Changes state | No |
| MCP tool | `server_access_context` |

| Argument | Type | Description |
| - | - | - |
| `<server-id>` | string | **Required.** Canonical server runtime ID. |

## techstack api inventory servers health

Get freshness-qualified health for one owned server.

```bash theme={null}
techstack api inventory servers health <server-id> [flags]
```

| | |
| - | - |
| HTTP | `GET /api/v1/inventory/servers/{serverId}/health` |
| Changes state | No |
| MCP tool | `server_health` |

| Argument | Type | Description |
| - | - | - |
| `<server-id>` | string | **Required.** Canonical server runtime ID. |

## techstack api inventory servers list

List sanitized server inventory for the authenticated owner.

Returns only servers owned by the authenticated subject in the trusted tenant context. Tenant and owner overrides are not accepted. Raw metadata, channel endpoints, provider-resource references, credentials, SSH material, tokens, and logs are never returned. The lease projection contains only an opaque identifier and state. Cursor pages share one authorization- and filter-bound collection watermark and exclude later inserts.

```bash theme={null}
techstack api inventory servers list [flags]
```

| | |
| - | - |
| HTTP | `GET /api/v1/inventory/servers` |
| Changes state | No |
| MCP tool | `list_servers` |

| Argument | Type | Description |
| - | - | - |
| `--limit` | integer | Default `50`. |
| `--cursor` | string | — |

## techstack api inventory servers ports

Get desired, reserved, observed, and exposed listeners for one owned server.

Projects compiler-declared listener claims and generation-fenced reservations beside monotone Guard runtime evidence. Missing or stale observations remain explicit and never become optimistic availability.

```bash theme={null}
techstack api inventory servers ports <server-id> [flags]
```

| | |
| - | - |
| HTTP | `GET /api/v1/inventory/servers/{serverId}/ports` |
| Changes state | No |
| MCP tool | `server_ports` |

| Argument | Type | Description |
| - | - | - |
| `<server-id>` | string | **Required.** Canonical server runtime ID. |

## techstack api inventory servers rename

Set or clear the owner-chosen name of one owned server.

Writes servers.display\_name, which runtime projections never overwrite. `null` or an empty string clears the rename. Requires the signed techstack.inventory.write entitlement and the FGA server `caller` relation; the write is bound to the authenticated tenant and owner, and a server outside that scope is denied without revealing whether it exists. The canonical inventory `name` reports the chosen name when one is set.

```bash theme={null}
techstack api inventory servers rename <server-id> [flags]
```

| | |
| - | - |
| HTTP | `PATCH /api/v1/inventory/servers/{serverId}` |
| Changes state | Yes |
| MCP tool | `rename_server` |

| Argument | Type | Description |
| - | - | - |
| `<server-id>` | string | **Required.** Canonical server runtime ID. |
| `--display-name` | string | **Required.** |
| `--body` | json | JSON request body (`application/json`) as a literal, `@path` or `-` for stdin. |

## techstack api inventory services list

List sanitized services for the authenticated owner's servers.

```bash theme={null}
techstack api inventory services list [flags]
```

| | |
| - | - |
| HTTP | `GET /api/v1/inventory/services` |
| Changes state | No |
| MCP tool | `list_services` |

| Argument | Type | Description |
| - | - | - |
| `--server-id` | string | Optional exact owned server filter; a foreign server is returned as not found. |
| `--limit` | integer | Default `50`. |
| `--cursor` | string | Opaque cursor bound to the authenticated scope and exact server\_id filter. |
