Get kombify AI running and have your first conversation in minutes. Choose your deployment model:

Self-Hosted (BYOK)

Using kombify Cloud

kombify AI is built into kombify Cloud. No setup required if you have a Cloud account.

Go to app.kombify.io and sign in with your account.

Open the AI chat

Click the chat bubble in the bottom-right corner, or navigate to the AI section in the sidebar.

kombify AI understands your infrastructure context and will give tailored recommendations.

Enable Guard (optional)

Navigate to AI Settings > Managers > Guard and enable autonomous monitoring. Guard will start observing your infrastructure and reporting issues.

AI features are available on all Cloud plans. Higher tiers include more monthly AI credits and access to premium models.

Bring Your Own Keys

Run kombify AI on your infrastructure with your own API keys.

Prerequisites

A running kombify TechStack instance
Docker and Docker Compose
At least one AI provider API key (OpenAI, Anthropic, or Google AI)

Deploy kombify AI

Add the AI service to your Docker Compose setup:

Configure your API keys

Open the AI portal at http://your-server:5270 and navigate to Settings > API Keys.Add your provider keys:

OpenAI — For GPT models
Anthropic — For Claude models
Google AI — For Gemini models

Keys are encrypted with AES-256-GCM and stored locally.

Start chatting

Navigate to the chat interface and ask your first question:

In self-hosted mode, you are responsible for API costs with your providers. kombify AI tracks usage and shows cost estimates in the dashboard.
