A Private File Library adds the released files workload with Cloudreve to a verified Basement Kit. Use it for files you want to keep on storage and a host you operate.

Plan storage first

  • Choose an absolute primary data root with enough free space.
  • Keep the backup root separate from primary data.
  • Decide which clients may reach the generated Files route.
  • Practice a restore before placing irreplaceable data in the library.

Select the workload

Merge this object into the complete StackSpec created by stackkit init:
The example was validated and generated with the public v0.16.0 CLI. If your generated site or node IDs differ, use those exact IDs.

Deploy and verify

Confirm that the resolved plan contains the files workload, cloudreve alternative, and standalone-compose adapter before applying. After verification succeeds, open the generated Files route and create only the application accounts you need. Keep StackKits configuration changes in the StackSpec rather than editing the generated workload bundle. See Cloudreve for component details and Back up and restore for the recovery lifecycle.
