Vaultwarden has its own app login. Protect the route and configure app-level admin settings before adding real secrets.

Steps

Open Vaultwarden

Open https://vault.<domain> from the Node Hub.

Create the owner account

Register the initial account and store recovery information separately.

Lock down signups

Disable open registration unless this is intentionally a private onboarding window.

Verify

  • The owner account can sign in.
  • New account creation follows your intended policy.
  • Backups cover the Vaultwarden data volume.
